ZPiT Zamojszczyzna - 1985 - 2010...

In 1985, the result of efforts of the Provincial Directorate of Culture House in Zamosc, children's dance band "Gaik" araised. Within a year the composition was increased by two youth dance groups and folk band, first bought costumes and musical instruments. After one year of activity, in October 1987, the decision of the rulers' team was named Song and Dance Group "Zamojszczyzna" and the name of the regional capital Lublin representative team ...

The founder, artistic director and choreographer is Jolanta Kalinowska-Obst. Folk bands for 15 years (1985-2000) led by Waldemar skin, now is led by Wojciech Tybulczuk.
The team actively participates in the cultural life of Zamosc, a lot of concerts and organizes many events, folklore, m. Al. since 2002, is co-organizer of the International Folk Festival "Eurofolk. The activities of the team assisted the Association of Friends of Folk Song and Dance Ensemble "Zamojszczyzna" founded in 1996.
